ANSWER - Silent auctions are auctions held without an auctioneer. People place their bids on sheets of paper instead. They're often used by charities to raise money, but they can be tricky to put together. With good planning, however, it's easy to set up an auction and get the most out of your items. Soon enough, you'll have raised a good amount of money in just a few hours!

 

QUESTION - What is a “Bid Sheet”?

ANSWER - A “Bid Sheet” is a 2 part carbonless form used to describe the item being auctioned, as well as particulars about the bid such as minimum bid, bidding increments and ending time.

 

QUESTION - What is a “Buyers Registration Sheet”?

ANSWER -  A “Buyers Registration Sheet” is a 2 part carbonless form used to record who is in the bidding process. The forms are consecutively numbered and correspond with the “Bid Cards”.  The form also captures the bidders phone number so they may be contacted if they leave early or do not know that they have won the auction.

 

QUESTION - What is a “Bid Card”?

ANSWER -  A “Bid Card” is a card that has the bidders registered number to place on the “Bid Sheet”. It also contains a place for the bidders name and the auction date.

 

QUESTION - Why Badges and Lanyards?

ANSWER - Bidders will have questions or need assistance during the auction. Make sure that they know who to ask.

 

QUESTION - What information do you keep on your computer

ANSWER - We keep information about your ticket purchases, shipping and billing information and general statistical information about our sales . For your safety we do not keep your credit card information, this must be entered for each purchase.

 

QUESTION - Why do you only accept credit cards.

ANSWER—At our low prices we can not handle open accounts or ship C.O.D. Terms are payment by credit card at time of order. In order to keep your prices as low as possible it is essential that we avoid the expense of billing and bookkeeping detail.

 

QUESTION - How soon will my auction forms ship?

ANSWER—Your auction forms can ship in as little as 15 minutes after you place your order. Realistically due to our volume and UPS pick up times please allow 24 to 48 hours, not including weekends and holidays
